Supplies:

• Size 10 bedspread weight cotton yarn
• Size “6” (1.8mm) steel crochet hook
• Needle for weaving in ends
• 2 Stitch markers
• 1/8” or 1/4” ribbon for belt
• 2 small snaps

Row 1 – ch 22, dc in 3rd ch from hook (first 2 ch’s count as first dc), dc in each ch across.  –(20 dc)-

Skirt

Waist
Row 1 – Ch 41, sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across.  –(40 sc)-

Row 2 – Ch 2, turn, (counts as first dc now and throughout) 2 dc in next sc, *dc in next sc, 2 dc in next sc, repeat from * across.  –(60 dc)-

Rows 3-9 – Ch 2, turn, dc in each dc across.  –(60 dc)-

Row 10 – Ch 2, turn, dc in each dc across, join with sl st to first dc.  –(60 dc)-

**Working in rnds now**

Rnd 11-16 – Ch 2, turn, dc in each dc around, join with sl st to first dc.  –(60 dc)-

**Back Loops Only for next 2 rnds**

Rnds 17-18 – Ch 2, dc in BLO of each dc around, join with sl st to first dc.

Rnd 19 – Ch 1, sc in same st, ch 2, *sk 1 dc, sc in next dc, ch 2, repeat from * around, join with sl st to first sc.  –(30 ch-2 sps)-

Rnd 20 – Sl st into next ch-2 sp, ch 1, sc in same sp, hdc in same sp, sc in same sp, (sc, hdc, sc) all in next sp and in each sp around, join with sl st to first sc.  Fasten Off.   –(30 hdc/60 sc)-

Ruffle 1
Rnd 1 – Attach thread with sc to any free loop from Rnd 17, ch 2, *sk 1 dc, sc in next dc, ch 2, repeat from * around, join with sl st to first sc.  –(30 ch-2 sps)-

Rnd 2 – Repeat Rnd 20 of skirt.  Fasten Off.

Ruffle 2
Attach thread with sc to any free loop from Rnd 18 and repeat as for Ruffle 1. Fasten off.  Sew snaps to inside of waist overlapping ends ¾”.

Sweater

Row 2 – Ch 2, turn, (counts as first dc now and throughout) dc in each dc across.  –(18 dc)- MARK AS RIGHT SIDE.

Rows 3-8 – Repeat Row 2.

Right Front
Row 1 – Ch 2, turn, dc in next 5 dc. Leave rest of row un-worked.  –(6 dc)-

Row 2 – Ch 2, turn, dc in each dc across.  –(6 dc)-

Row 3 – Ch 2, turn, dc in each dc across to last dc, 2 dc in last dc.  –(7 dc)-

Row 4 – Ch 2, turn, dc in same st as turning ch, dc in each dc across.  –(8 dc)-

Rows 5-10 – Repeat Rows 3-4 three times.  –(14 dc)-  Fasten off.

Left Front
Row 1 – With Wrong Side facing, skip 6 stitches on Back from last stitch of Right Front Row 1, attach thread with a sl st to next dc, ch 2, dc in next 5 dc.  –(6 dc)-

Row 2 – Ch 2, turn, dc in each dc across.  –(6 dc)-

Row 3 – Ch 2, turn, dc in same st as turning ch, dc in each dc across.  –(7 dc)-

Row 4 – Ch 2, turn, dc in each dc across to last dc, 2 dc in last dc.  –(8 dc)-

Rows 5-10 – Repeat Rows 3-4 three times.  –(14 dc)-  Fasten off.

Joining
With Wrong Sides together, sew side seams from bottom to sleeve opening for 5 rows. Leave remaining rows un-worked for sleeves.  Repeat for second side seam.

Row 1 – With Right Side facing, attach thread with sl st to first dc on Right Front bottom, ch 2, dc in same st, dc in each dc around bottom of sweater to last dc on Left Front, 2 dc in last dc.  –(48 dc)-

Row 2 – Ch 2, turn, 2 dc in next dc, *dc in next dc, 2 dc in next dc, repeat from * across.  –(72 dc)-

Row 3 – Ch 2, turn, dc in each dc across.  –(72 dc)-

Row 4 – Ch 1, turn, sc in same st, *ch 2, sk 1 dc, sc in next dc, repeat from * across.  –(36 ch-2 sps)-

Row 5 – Turn, sl st in ch-2 sp, ch 1, sc in same st, hdc in same st, sc in same st, (sc, hdc sc) in each ch-2 sp across.  –(36 hdc/72 sc)-  Fasten off.

Sleeves
Rnd 1 – With right side facing, attach thread with sl st to any row around sleeve opening, ch 2, work 17 dc evenly around sleeve opening, join with sl st to first dc.  –(18 dc)-

Rnds 2-11 – Ch 2, turn, dc in each dc around, join with sl st to first dc.  –(18 dc)-

Rnd 12 – Ch 2, turn, 2 dc in next dc, *dc in next dc, 2 dc in next dc, repeat from * around, join with sl st to first dc. –(27 dc)-

Rnd 13 – Ch 1, turn, sc in same st, *ch 2, sk 1 dc, sc in next dc, repeat from * around to last 2 dc, ch 2, sk last 2 dc, join with sl st to first sc.  –(13 ch-2 sps)-

Rnd 14 – Sl st into next ch-2 sp, ch 1, sc in same sp, hdc in same sp, sc in same sp, (sc, hdc, sc) in each ch-2 sp around, join with sl st to first sc.  –(13 hdc/26 sc)- Fasten off.

Neckline Trim
Row 1 – With Right Side facing, start at Right Front bottom and work up along side of Right front around neckline, attach thread with sl st to corner, ch 1, sc in same st, 2 sc in each side of row along Right Front, sc in each dc around back of neck, 2 sc in each die of row down Left Front to bottom corner.  –(68 sc)-

Row 2 – Ch 1, turn, sc in same st, *ch 2, sk 1 sc, sc in next sc, repeat from * around.  –(34 ch-2 sps)-

Row 3 – Turn, sl st in next ch-2 sp, sc in same sp, hdc in same sp, sc in same sp, (sc, hdc, sc) in each ch-2 sp around.  –(34 hdc/68 sc)-  Fasten off.

Weave in ends.
Attach snaps to front, overlapping Right front corner to left front underarm seam.
Weave length of ribbon through rnd 1 of Joining for belt.
