• Moda Dea Metro yarn (size 5 bulky weight)
•  Size K crochet hook
• Needle for weaving in ends
• 3 Stitch markers
• 2 lengths of  ½” organza ribbon

Gauge (always be sure to check gauge):
Row 1 – Ch 21, sc in 2nd ch from hook, *sk 2 ch’s, 3 dc in next ch, sk 2 ch’s, sc in next ch, repeat from * across. Ch 1, turn.
Row 2-10 – Sc in same sc, *3 dc shell in next shell, sc in next sc, repeat from * across. Ch 1, turn.

Cape
Row 1 – Ch 2, turn, dc in next 2 dc, sc in next sc, *shell in next shell, sc in next sc, repeat from * across, dc in last 3 dc.  –(24, 24, 28, 28, 32 shells)-

Rows 2-X – Repeat Row 1 until cape measures 15”[16”, 17”, 18”, 19” ] from beginning. Fasten off.

Weave in ends.

Scrumptiously Sweet Hat

Hat Side
Rnd 1 – Ch 1, turn, sc in same st, shell in next shell, *sc in next sc, shell in next shell, repeat from * around, join with sl st to first sc.  –(9, 10, 11 shells)-

Rnds 2-X – Repeat Rnd 1 until hat measures 14”[ 15”, 16”] from side over top to other side.  Fasten off.
CUSTOMIZATION OPTION: You may customize the length of the hat side here by increasing or decreasing the amount of rows.

Weave in ends.
Tie ribbon in a bow around any sc from second to last row of Hat Side.
