Supplies:

• Moda Dea Metro yarn (size 5 bulky weight)
•  Size K crochet hook
• Needle for weaving in ends
• 3 Stitch markers
• 2 lengths of  ½” organza ribbon

Gauge (always be sure to check gauge):
Row 1 – Ch 21, sc in 2nd ch from hook, *sk 2 ch’s, 3 dc in next ch, sk 2 ch’s, sc in next ch, repeat from * across. Ch 1, turn.
Row 2-10 – Sc in same sc, *3 dc shell in next shell, sc in next sc, repeat from * across. Ch 1, turn.      

1 shells + 1 sc = 2 inches

Yoke
Row 1 – Ch 42[42, 42, 50, 50, 50, 50], dc in 3rd ch from hook and in each ch across.  –(41, 41, 41, 49, 49, 49, 49 dc)-

Row 2 – Ch 2, turn, (counts as first dc now and throughout) dc in next 2 dc, sk 1 dc, sc in next dc, sk 1 dc, 3 dc in next dc (shell made), sk 1 dc, sc in next dc, sk 1 dc, *shell in next dc, sk 1 dc, sc in next dc, sk 1 dc,  repeat from * across to last 3 dc, dc in each rem 3 dc.  –(8, 8, 8, 10, 10, 10, 10 shells)-

Cape
Row 1 – Ch 2, turn, dc in next 2 dc, sc in next sc, *shell in next shell, sc in next sc, repeat from * across, dc in last 3 dc.  –(12, 12, 12, 16, 16, 20, 20 shells)-

Rows 2-X – Repeat Row 1 until cape measures 9”[10”, 11”, 12”, 13”, 14”, 15”] from beginning. Fasten off.

Weave in ends.
Weave organza ribbon through Row 1 of Yoke to tie in front.

Scrumptiously Sweet Hat

Rnd 2 – Ch 1, sc in same st, sk 1 sc, shell in next sc, *sk 1 sc, sc in next sc, sk 1 sc, shell in next sc, repeat from * around, join with sl st to first sc.  –(4 shells)-

COMPLETE FOLLOWING RND ACCORDING TO SIZE
Rnd 3 (for small size only) – Ch 1, turn, sc in same st, shell in next shell, *sc in next sc, double shell in next shell, repeat from * around, join with sl st to first sc.  –(7, --, -- shells)- GO TO HAT SIDE

Rnd 3 (for med and large sizes only) – Ch 1, turn, sc in same st, double shell in next shell, *sc in next sc, double shell in next shell, repeat form * around, join with sl st to first sc.  –(--, 8, 8 shells)- Med size only: GO TO HAT SIDE. Large size continue on to Rnd 4.

Rnd 4 (for Large size only) – Ch 1, turn, sc in same st, double shell in next shell, *sc in next sc, shell in next shell, repeat from * around, join with sl st to first sc.

Hat Side
Rnd 1 – Ch 1, turn, sc in same st, shell in next shell, *sc in next sc, shell in next shell, repeat from * around, join with sl st to first sc.  –(7, 8, 9 shells)-

Rnds 2-X – Repeat Rnd 1 until hat measures 10”[ 12”, 14”] from side over top to other side.  Fasten off.
CUSTOMIZATION OPTION: You may customize the length of the hat side here by increasing or decreasing the amount of rows.

Weave in ends.
Tie ribbon in a bow around any sc from second to last row of Hat Side.
